Например, a business trip – деловая поездка или командировка. Может быть одна поездка, может быть много. A trip, many trips, one trip, two trips etc. Одна, две и так далее. Поездка может быть длинная или короткая. It may be a long trip or a short trip. A long trip or a short trip... A road trip – поездка куда-то на машине. Road – дорога. A road trip – поездка на машине… A round trip – То есть поездка круговая, туда и обратно. Билет туда и обратно – A round-trip ticket. Уезжающим мы желаем: Have a wonderful trip! – Замечательной поездки… Английское слово Travel, в основном, используется как глагол: путешествовать - to travel. Do you like to travel? – Вы любите путешествовать? И мой тренинг разговорного английского для путешественников называется "Travel the World with English – Путешествуйте по миру с английским" буквально. По-русски он называется "Путешествуй и говори по-английски". Travel, в основном, глагол. Гораздо реже "travel" используется как существительное. И будет использоваться как абстрактное существительное, мы не можем посчитать "travel". Например: Travel to India can be treacherous. – Путешествия в Индию могут быть небезопасными... Что касается английского слова "journey", оно носит совсем абстрактный характер и скорее используется, когда мы говорим о времени, нашей энергии, трансформации внутренней, которая потребовалась…, то есть это путь,... как жизненный путь. Life is a journey , - мы говорим. Жизнь – это путь. Например: "Как Вам удалось стать синхронным переводчиком президентов?" – меня спрашивают. На что я могу сказать: "It was quite a journey. – Это был целый жизненный путь"... И я хочу вам пожелать safe travels, fun trips – безопасных путешествий, интересных поездок. Pas mal de mots ressemblent au français. La grammaire paraît simple : Pas besoin de se soucier du masculin et féminin. Pas besoin d'apprendre des conjugaisons complexes (comme en français). Par exemple. Mais... ... si c'était aussi simple, ça se saurait.. CAR l'anglais n'est pas une langue facile. Désolé... mais c'est la vérité. Rien d'insurmontable rassurez-vous : vous pouvez parfaitement vous y (re)mettre et faire de gros progrès rapidement. Mais il y a des choses à savoir pour éviter de vous faire piéger (et très mal parler anglais). Pour faire (trèssssss) simple l'anglais a 2 origines : l'allemand (de la Saxe) et le français (le normand) Du coup en anglais vous avez souvent un mot d'origine "allemande" et un mot d'origine "française" pour dire... la même chose (ou presque). Résultat : le vocabulaire en anglais est très, très riche ! Il y a quasiment 2 fois plus de mots en anglais qu'en français. Et parfois c'est "pire". Regardez pour le mot "voyage" : il y a 3 mots courants en anglais (alors qu'un seul suffit en français) ils ont tous un usage bien spécifique (autrement dit on les emploie dans telle ou telle situation et PAS une autre) Je vous laisse les (re)découvrir et les (ré)apprendre une bonne fois pour toutes. Une belle occasion d'enrichir votre vocabulaire facilement... et d'éviter des (grosses) fautes quand vous parlez anglais. Talk to you soon and have a very nice day !
